The moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by the friendly staff and the warm atmosphere that transports you back in time. The intimate setting may be compact, but as many satisfied customers, like Marie Morris and John Jackson, have noted, the service is swift and the atmosphere is always lively.

One of the standout aspects of Tom Thumb Diner is the dedicated focus on affordable pricing without compromising on the quality of food. Marine GamerPlayer simplifies it best: if you’re looking for a meal that can kick-start your day or provide a satisfying lunch break, this is the place to be. The pancakes are a must-try, as highlighted by Sharon efstathiou, who calls them “amazing” and worth the stop. Pair them with a freshly brewed cup of coffee to complete your meal.

My wife and I were visiting the area for a weekend get away. We got lucky and found this perfect little Diner for a great breakfast. The seating is a little limited but we were early and didn't have to wait for a table. The food was great the service was wonderful. The atmosphere was like a blast from the past and very clean. Thanks again!

A small southern diner with great hospitality and friendly patrons! Prices were super reasonable (for a northerner, anyway) and the quantities were good - not huge, but satisfying. If you like small town diners, I'd highly recommend stopping. Currently closed Sundays and Thursdays.

This is a very small, compact diner and seating is the only problem that I've seen. I eat there as often as I've been in the area and have never had a problem with finding a table. The food is good, service is good, prices are fair. I recommend Tom Thumb Diner if you're in the Etowah, TN area.

Everything you would want and expect out of a small town diner! Good food and friendly service! Burger is excellent! (And it does not at all smell like cigarette smoke as others have said.)

Great food. It isn't fancy but that also leads to prices that aren't fancy. Cheap to eat and great on the palate! Most of the customers and the employees all knew each other so it was fun listening to the banter while we ate. Highly recommend!
